Grade 2 Clinical or Health Psychologist
Royal Melbourne Hospital
- Provide clinical psychology services on the Orthopaedic Enhanced Recovery After Surgery plus Prehabilitation initiative.
- Based at our Parkville (City) campus, some work at our Royal Park Campus may be required
- 0.21 EFT (8 hours per week).
- Fixed Term - 5-months February 2025 - 30th December 2025.
Allied Health - Psychology are a dynamic team comprised of neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists and health psychologists. There is a strong culture of clinical research in both teams with a number of research projects underway.
Your new role:
- Conduct psychological assessments with patients experiencing a variety of medical conditions.
- Provide psychological interventions to assist with mental health and engagement with treatment.
- Assist the treating team to manage behaviours of concern.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve high standards of patient care.
About you:
- You have a patient-centred approach to your work.
- You enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient setting and have a collaborative working style.
- You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
- You are an AHPRA registered clinical or health psychologist with a passion for public health.
