The Clinical Haematology service is a unified department formed between Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and The Royal Melbourne Hospital and is the largest haematology service in the country.
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Clinical Haematology team. This is fixed term (until September 2026) part-time position, working 32 hours per fortnight, based at Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
The Clinical Haematology service is looking for an experienced scientist to join our Bone Marrow Transplant Service (BMT).
Your new role:
- Duties include a wide range of laboratory tasks and support tasks.
- Manual analyses of both clinical and research specimens.
- Processing of cellular therapy products for patient infusion.
- Quality analyses of BMT processes in line with NATA accreditation.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in a tertiary hospital, private pathology or research laboratory.
- Well-developed written skills.
- Excellent teamwork-based skills.
- Experience with Laboratory quality systems.
