Project Manager – Clinical Coding Solution

  • Full Time, fixed term 12 month position working 80 hours per fortnight.
  • Apply your Project Management skills in the Information & Performance team.
  • Work directly alongside multi-disciplinary teams.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is a leading public hospital in Victoria, providing expert care 24 hours, 7 days a week. It offers emergency, surgical, mental health, and specialist services. As a major teaching hospital, it supports medical research and trains future healthcare professionals.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital is the lead agency responsible for implementing the Computer Assisted Coding software for the Coding Services at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.  

 

Your new role:

  • Project Manage the implementation of the Computer Assisted Software across three health services.
  • Oversees all aspects of the implementation process, from project planning, stakeholder engagement, training and change management.
  • Pivotal role leading a transformational project ensuring there is seamless integration with the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

 

About you:

  • You demonstrate success in managing and delivering ICT business change management projects.
  • You have experience managing projects that involve substantial work practice changes.
  • You form strong working relationships and enjoy engaging directly with a variety of stakeholders in the technical space and support staff in enabling change.
  • You display leadership qualities within complex health environments.
  • You are interested in applying your high level of attention to detail, problem solving and process-oriented thinking in an interesting and growing setting.
  • You have effective time management and workload prioritisation skills.
