Lead Pharmacist – Workforce Development

  • Lead and support the delivery of high-quality education and training programs for all pharmacy staff and pharmacy students.
  • Grade 4 Lead Pharmacist ongoing role.
  • Full-time with opportunity for flexible working arrangements (part-time may be considered on request).

  • We enjoy a collaborative working environment, and you will work as part of the Quality team to develop high quality workforce development programs and improvement initiatives.

Your new role:

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist with experience in clinical pharmacy and education to lead the Pharmacy Workforce Development Team in a full-time position (part-time may be considered on request)
  • The role supports the best possible patient care through developing and enhancing workforce development programs and pathways across the Pharmacy Department.
  • You will lead and support the delivery of high-quality education and training program for all staff and student placements at the Pharmacy Department.
  • Contribute to high quality, safe and equitable clinical pharmacy services
  • You will be an active member of the Pharmacy leadership team.

 

About you:

  • You have experience with clinical education in a hospital pharmacy setting, and demonstrated ability to provide leadership within a Pharmacy team.
  • You possess a high level of clinical skills and knowledge as well as judgement and reasoning.
  • You have excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise your work and deliver to deadlines.
  • You possess effective interpersonal skills, including negotiation with key stakeholders, conflict resolution, provide mentorship and fostering a positive work culture.

  • You have a relevant post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or similar, at a Masters level highly desirable.
