Allied Health Assistant Grade 3 - Occupational Therapy
- Be an integral member of the Occupational Therapy team by providing support through clinical and administrative tasks
- Provide quality care and support service operation for the trauma and surgical teams
- Part time ongoing, 8 hours per week, 0.21 EFT
Your New Role
- Provide quality care to patients in collaboration with and under the direction and supervision of the health professional as requested
- Play a key role in administrative duties, triage of referrals, and collaboration with allied health clinicians to promote therapy objectives (individual and group).
- Support service operation and development by assisting in general team/administrative support within the department including maintaining departmental records
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patient care
About You
- You are an Allied Health Assistant with broad and relevant experience in acute/subacute hospital environment
- A skilled communicator with effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- An innovative, resourceful, and adaptive to change
- A high level organisational skills and demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
