End-User Device Lead
The Royal Melbourne Hospital
- Full-Time, Fixed Term opportunity until July 2026
- Work in partnership across the Parkville Precinct and report to the Senior Project Director, Laboratory Information System (LIS)
- Responsible for project and technical management, logistics and asset management, stakeholder engagement and collaboration, testing and validation, and cutover and go-live readiness
The End-User Device Lead (EUDL) will play a critical role in the successful implementation of the Epic Laboratory Information System (LIS) known as Beaker, under the Pathology Connect project. Reporting to the Senior Project Director, with a dotted line to the Beaker Project Manager, the EUDL will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of the End User Device (EUD) readiness, testing, deployment, and technical dress rehearsal activities across all four participating health services (the Royal Women’s Hospital, the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Royal Children’s Hospital).

The role ensures that the technical environment is validated and optimised for clinical workflows before go-live, allowing each site to safely transition to the new LIS.
This position requires a highly organised and proactive individual who can manage detailed technical tasks while working collaboratively with vendors, IT teams, pathology departments, and implementation partners.
