RMH - Director Head and Neck Cancer Surgery
Fractional / Fixed Term - 0.4 FTE/28 hours per fortnight (5 years Leadership)

We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
Unit Description:
- The Department of Head and Neck Cancer Surgery is a newly established Department at RMH, following a review of the Parkville Head and Neck Cancer Surgery Service.
About the role:
The Director is responsible and accountable for the delivery of high-quality, cost effective, clinical services, education and research for Head and Neck Cancer Surgery at RMH. The Director is responsible for optimizing patient access and ensuring integrated high quality multidisciplinary health care is delivered across their department.
The Director will work closely and collaboratively with the Director of Head & Neck Cancer Surgery at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre to deliver the findings of the 2024 Review of Head and Neck Surgical Services in the Parkville Precinct.

About You:
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international Medical Graduates)
- MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Relevant Specialist Standing
- Experience in a clinical leadership or managerial role
- Advanced communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally and collaboratively
