Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) is Victoria’s newest public mental health service dedicated to the care of young people aged 12 to 25 experiencing complex mental health challenges.

The Opportunity:
The Workforce Resource Administrator role is an ongoing pivotal in establishing the foundational operations of the new Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS). You will provide essential administrative and operational support to build a sustainable, agile Casual Bank that ensures safe service delivery for young people. Success in this role requires accuracy in documentation and a highly positive engagement style to coordinate Casual Bank onboarding, rostering, and record-keeping effectively. Our service is made up of compassionate, curious, and committed people. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and organised Workforce Resource Administrator to co-ordinate the casual bank administration and support recruitment and development activities.

About the Role:
As Workforce Resource Administrator, you will play a foundational and strategic role in supporting the sustained operational capacity and continued growth of PYMHWS. Provide crucial administrative and operational support to the Workforce Resource Team, specifically focused on establishing and maintaining a sustainable and agile Casual Bank.
You will be directly responsible for the daily coordination of the Casual Bank, which includes end-to-end administration of onboarding, rostering, and essential record-keeping. The unique and compelling aspect of this role is its direct impact on frontline service delivery by ensuring the Casual Bank is accurately managed and effectively staffed. You are maintaining the continuous, safe, and youth-first mental healthcare provided to young people aged 12-25. This role is a crucial contributor to our mission to transform youth mental healthcare in Victoria.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate the daily administration of the Casual Bank, encompassing onboarding, contract management, and maintenance of accurate staff records.
- Manage the essential function of rostering, ensuring effective and safe staff coverage across all PYMHWS sites for continuous service delivery.
- Support the end-to-end recruitment activities for the Workforce Resource Team, including drafting documentation, scheduling, and processing new staff appointments.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate staff data and documentation to ensure timely payroll processing and compliance standards are met.
- Assist the Nursing Workforce Development and Learning Team with administrative support for training programs and early career requirements.
About You:
- Experience in coordinating complex administrative processes, preferably within a health service or large complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, detailed administrative functions, including scheduling, rostering, and accurate record-keeping.
- Strong working knowledge of staff onboarding and recruitment lifecycles.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, allowing for effective coordination of multiple simultaneous tasks.
- Proven ability to engage positively and communicate clearly with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to the principles of safe service delivery and the mission of youth mental health and wellbeing.
