Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) is Victoria’s newest public mental health service dedicated to the care of young people aged 12 to 25 experiencing complex mental health challenges.

The Opportunity:
We are currently hiring a Health Information Manager to provide support and guidance in all health information related activities at Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.
The primary areas of responsibility will include ensuring systems are in place to address data integrity issues and provide quality assurance for collection, processing, reporting and monitoring of the clinical information and service activity to support PYMHWS and ensure all reporting and compliance obligations are met. This role will assist in providing education to different stakeholders on health information requirements across Parkville Youth Mental Health & Wellbeing Service.

About the Role:
The role of the Health Information Manager (HIM) is to provide support and guidance in the governance and management of Health Information across Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS).
This role will also be part of the team that governs health information and supports the operational management of health information to clinical teams in community, inpatient, residential and several other specialist areas. The role will work with our multi-disciplinary workforce of skilled and dynamic clinicians, and lived and Living experience (LLE) young people and carer experts.
What You'll Do:
- Address data integrity and provide quality assurance for collection, processing, reporting and monitoring of the clinical information and service activity
- Develop and provide education and training to different stakeholders on health information requirements
- Assist and maintain high standards of privacy, confidentiality and other areas of Health Information governance
- Support the day-to-day activities of the Health Information Service
About You:
✔️ Bachelor of Health Information Management or equivalent
✔️ Eligible for membership of Health Information Management Association of Australia
✔️ Previous health information management experience in a health care service
✔️ Enjoy working collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organisation
