Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) is Victoria’s newest public mental health service dedicated to the care of young people aged 12 to 25 experiencing complex mental health challenges.

The Opportunity:
The YAT Administration Officer plays an integral part in providing administration and reception duties to support young people accessing mental health care who are referred or present in person for tertiary mental health support from the western and north western suburbs of Melbourne.
Our service is made up of compassionate, curious, and committed people. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced, kind and passionate administration officer to join the PYMHWS YAT service.

About the Role:
The Administrative Officer will deliver a professional and caring customer-focused service, either on the telephone or in person, often as the first point of contact for new referrers, clinical staff, medical staff, and ancillary staff, hospital departments, young people, their families, significant others and visitors.
The PYMHWS YAT Team is looking for a dedicated and experienced administration officer who can complete a range of administration and reception tasks in a dynamic, busy environment that provides a premier youth mental health services that usually see’s new young people experiencing mental ill health for the first time.
What You'll Do:
The Administration Officer is integral to the PYMHWS YAT team in ensuring administration, reception tasks and duties are carried out professionally, efficiently, and effectively.
Premier customer service skills are essential.
Administration and reception tasks include, but are not limited to:

Completing new patient registrations to the PYMHWS YAT service.

Medical records maintenance, scanning and database management.

Reception, telephone switchboard, and general administration tasks.

Support the YAT manager with administrations tasks.

General administration support to YAT clinicians.

Managing local and service IT systems.

Support of YAT Triage and Acute functions.

Office supply management.
-
Report writing, portfolio management.
