PYMHWS is leading a bold and values-driven transformation in youth mental health care across Melbourne’s north and west. We exist to walk alongside young people, their families, carers, supporters and kin delivering care that is accessible, inclusive, developmentally appropriate, evidence-informed, and grounded in lived experience. Our service model is shaped by the voices of young people and their communities, and underpinned by a commitment to safety, equity, and continuous learning.

At PYMHWS, we are working with our community and partners to build in a future where all young people can access world-class mental health support, close to home. As we grow, we are looking for passionate, skilled, and visionary professionals to join us in shaping a new era of youth mental health in Victoria.

The Opportunity:

Our service is made up of compassionate, curious, and committed people. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Early Intervention and NDIS Support Lead to support clinicians across PYMHWS to identify, assess and link young people at risk of psychosocial disability to appropriate external supports.

As a Senior Clinician, you will be able to work autonomously, with a strong focus on collaborating with clinical streams and care teams across each of our sites in the north-west of Melbourne, as well as external agencies including the NDIS.

Why Join PYMHWS?

The Early Intervention and NDIS Support Lead role ensures all eligible young people at PYMHWS are identified and referred for appropriate psychosocial supports through either the NDIS, EIPSR or other external agencies. The focus of the role is to build organisational capacity, strengthen referral pathways, and act as the primary clinical link between PYMHWS, psychosocial providers, and other key stakeholders.

By embedding efficient referral systems and building strong partnerships with NDIS and EIPSR providers, this role ensures PYMHWS can deliver integrated, holistic care. This improves service responsiveness, prevents service gaps, and supports the organisation’s goal of reducing the incidence of permanent psychosocial disability among young people.
