Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) is Victoria’s newest public mental health service dedicated to the care of young people aged 12 to 25 experiencing complex mental health challenges.

The Opportunity:
We are currently hiring an Administration Officer to work within the Health Information Services. Ensure specialist health information and administration tasks and duties are carried out efficiently and effectively.

About the Role:
The Administration Officer works within the HIS team. The role will support HIS administrative functions related to upholding the Mental Health & Wellbeing Act 2022, the Mental Health Tribunal (MHT) operations, Freedom of Information and Release of Information processes, HealthHub, Parkville Connect, CMI/ODS data entry and validation and other duties as needed.
This role will also be part of the team that governs health information and supports the operational management of health information to clinical teams in community, inpatient, residential and several other specialist areas. The role will work with our multi-disciplinary workforce of skilled and dynamic clinicians, and Lived and Living experience (LLE) young people and carer experts.
What You'll Do:
- Support Freedom of Information, Release of Information and Mental Health Tribunal processes
- Medical record maintenance, compiling, scanning and upload of documentation
- Assist and maintain high standards of privacy, confidentiality and other areas of Health Information governance
- Support the day-to-day activities of the Health Information Services
About You:
✔️ Demonstrated clerical experience and administrative skill
✔️ Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in mental health or health information services
✔️Good attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills
✔️ Enjoy working collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organisation
